can you give the exact steps for ur 2nd option.
1)exp scott/tiger tables=emp,
2)alter user scott default tablespace tools,(before it's users)
3)imp scott/tiger fromuser=scott touser=scottBut still oracle imports to users tablespace itself.
i made users tablespace off, before import, that case, i kicked away by an error, as tablepsace is in offline.Expecting your answer.
