Everything self tuning .... yeah it works. I have two identical tables (with different number of rows of course) and separately analyzed. They have identical index. When I run select on both tables after supplying a value for the PK, the query on main table uses the PK index and works fine. The query on second table (identical, except for different table name), uses a concat index with 'index skip scan' instead of pk.
I have no explanation, does anyone have any? I have the 10053 dump available if you need it. I am trying to understand "WHY" it isn't using the pk and resorting to skip scanning? The db is 9012.
