List, ...was doing a looonnnng update, was taking forever, i rebooted the PC, as expected, the *open* of the instance is taking a very long time.. and i cannot wait... is there a way to open the DB *without* letting oracle perform the thread recovery ?? i just to open the DB.... data lose is acceptable..
