I cannot answer your Linux question specifically. But with 70# or 70#,, your
call waiting works again as soon as you hang up the phone. I use 70# when
I'm calling an important long distance number and don't want to be
disturbed. As soon as I've hung up, call waiting is in action again. Same
thing with using a modem.
