I am fanatically happy with the Rands Aircone pots which range from clear to almost white. UNDER MY CONDITIONS, they work better than anything else for Paphs and Phrags. I attribute much of this long term benefit to the better airflow. If this were the only factor involved, then any color should work the same. The the ability to see the media and roots, if any, is a real plus. In the case of Phrags, I grow them in trays of rainwater, changed weekly with the water 1/3 to 1/2 way up the Aircone pot. I always underpot and it's most satisfying to see the pots filled with roots. Highly recommended.
