Refreshing to realize that even though in the minority there are others who agree. Yes the censorship is amazing. Their monitor must have been trained in the Bush White House. Absolutely nothing of a controversial or thought provoking nature gets by. It's all just ooh and aahs about your new root on "Gertie" your favorite phal that has been with you through thick and thin. And then the mother hens chime in wtih their pats on the back and smiley faces. Anyone that really wanted to engage in a meaningful conversation left the forum long ago. Yes the previous forum had its faults. There was some hellacious name calling. But at least the information there was of a valid nature. Not so now where everything offered is just regurgitated information that hasn't been tested as to validity but merely fobbed off on the unsuspecting as fact. Previously I looked at it nearly daily. Now it gets a quick check every week or two. I used to eagerly await the Bulletin and would devote several evenings to careful reading and research. Using previous issues to complement the information I never failed to increase my knowledge. Now when it comes it gets a quick look and promply tossed on the "some day" heap. I believe there is at least an 18 month supply if I ever become desperate enough to look at them again. I subscribe to 11 orchid periodicals and this is by far the weakest. Give me the Digest any day. The move to Delray Beach was a big mistake that no one will admit. At least the place should accrue in value so when they are forced to get out from under it it shouldn't be too big a loss. Maybe they will replace Lee with someone with a different vision. I quit trying to offer suggestions because his reply was a repetitive "If you don't like it write something yourself." And Andy there is no way I'll take that suckers bet.
