Depends what you're looking for when you say 'scheduling events'. If you don't need ticketing, are you just looking to get an idea of how many people are going to turn up? Or do you not even need that? Or perhaps you're looking for a tool that helps you choose and schedule a convenient date? Eventbrite is a ticketing system that is free for free events, and which doesn't force social features on you or your guests in the same way Meetup does: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/features/ If it's scheduling that you're looking for, Doodle is a tool to help you choose a date that's convenient for multiple people: http://doodle.com/ Or if you don't need any kind of ticketing, registration or scheduling, and are just looking to publicise an event's details, you could just put up a static web page somewhere and point people to it! Cheers, Chris
