Entertainment is very much a basic need. Creation is too.

And _because_ we live in a consumption society, consumers are raised to have a 
very strong sense of entitlement regarding what they consume. That's in fact 
why "illegal" distribution exists. Because consumers are sick of being treated 
like cash cows.

In the market place, if sellers don't have a sense that they need to meet 
consumer's expectations, they're very likely to fail. Unless they are pioneers 
and they create the expectation. But as far as origami diagrams are concerned 
that's not going to happen, at least not in the current form.
