What do you know of putting clay
slip on paper and then firing it in a kiln? putting slip between two pieces of
paper then folding it, and also folding a model then painting slip on and
firing it. The first method did not work very well, but the second has
worked well.

Hi Paul,
I had a positive one time experience with silver clay, commonly called Precious
Metal Clay, PMC. I folded a tiny square into a flapping bird, it was fired,
polished, drilled and pierced ear wires attached.
