Hello everyone, A friend of mine who is studying Industrial designing asked me : "can you design/suggest an origami structure which can hold weight?" The rule is that I can only use 1 sheet of A4 paper.
The first thing that came to my mind was making parallel pleats or maybe the Miura pattern and then putting an object, like a book, on it to measure how much weight can it hold . Does anyone have info or suggestion about these kind of structures. Thank you! Ali
