Hi Dave: You need to have a oscar_packages.xml file in the root of the repository which tells OPD what packages you have in the repository - then simply point the 'Additional OPD Repositories' to the URL and it should work.
You can point your browser to any of the repositories to check out what the 'tree' looks like.
