OK, MDK gurus, So, what's the deal with network config on MDK10 on vmware? I've got /etc/sysconfig/network and /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 set up, but the network fails to come up on boot. Every attempt to manually start via
/etc/init.d/network start fails with Sorry, there is already an instance of ifplugd for eth0 running But, a simple ifup eth0 works! I tried commenting out the INTERFACES item in /etc/ifplugd/ifplugd.conf, but this didn't help.... I HATE nanny-os helpers like kudzu, supermount, and other falderal. -- David N.
