Hello, I quickly looked at the DIPC code (at least for the memory management) and the code seems to be very closed to the memory management into the SSI-OSCAR kernel (the Kerrighed kernel, http://www.kerrighed.org/). But maybe I am wrong, I did not spend a lot of time on the DIPC code.
BTW, differences between 2.2.x kernels, 2.4.x kernels and 2.6.x kernels are huge, so even if the DIPC patch is pretty small, the port may be though. But if a port can be made for the 2.6.x kernel and if you want to create an OSCAR package, maybe you can looked at the SSI-OSCAR package.
