Title: [Oscar-devel] /common-rpms/perl-HTML-Tree rpm for RHEL3-x86
DongInn:

Have you tried rebuilding the SRPM on RHEL3?

Erich, in the situation where both common-rpms and rhel3-i386 directories contain the RPM, would either one have preference over the other?

Cheers,

Bernard

Subject: [Oscar-devel] /common-rpms/perl-HTML-Tree rpm for RHEL3-x86

Hi,

The common rpm, perl-HTML-Tree-3.18-1.rf.noarch.rpm, does not work on
RHEL3-x86.
This rpm is a prereqs and this prereqs does not a specific distro rpm.
So, we believe that perl-HTML-Tree-3.18-1.rf.noarch.rpm should work on
RHEL3-u6-x86 too but
apparently it is not working.

So, as I posted at my previous email about testing trunk (r4792) on
RHEL3-U6-x86, the rpm file from DAG
and perl-HTML-Tree file from CPAN work fine.

ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/dag/redhat/el3/en/i386/dag/RPMS/perl-HTML-Tree-3.18-1.rhel3.dag.noarch.rpm

Then, how can I add this rpm to share/prereqs/perl-HTML-Tree/distro for
RHEL3-i386?
Is it OK to create a new dir /distro/rhel3-i386 and then put the rpm in it?

Or, Erich, at /perl-HTML-Tree/prereq.cfg file, if I put the following
lines, can yume copy only the one from DAG to
/tftpboot/oscar/rhel-3-i386 and installs it? And also, the other disros
copy and install the rpm in /distro/common-rpms?
[redhat-el*|3|i386]
perl-HTML-Tree

I am not sure if this DAG rpm works on the other distros. I doubt it though.
If it works, I can just replace the current rpm with the one from DAG.

Regards,

DongInn
