Yes, install_prereq now autodetects whether it can use "smart" methods. In general this is good, but if you smartly remove yum, you end up with exactly the problem that the smart installer won't work any more. This is a bit of a deadlock situation. It can be solved by taking care that the yume/packman/rapt prereqs are installed only in --dumb mode. This means some limitations regarding installability from remote repositories (especially of the dependencies), but well... if we decide that all installer related packages come with OSCAR... I made following changes: - added --dumb to install_prereq when making the "bootstrap-smart" target in the Makefile - changed scripts/wizard_prep and added --dumb to the install_prereq instance which installs packman and yume/rapt.
