Hi, I am not sure how we can solve this kind of problems. I have googled to see how rpm and perl modules work and I found that we can not simply install an rpm which has some dependency issues with perl modules without installing the rpms built for the perl modules even though those modules are installed via CPAN or they are visible on the perl codes like oscar. http://forums.fedoraforum.org/archive/index.php/t-70075.html This is a really bad experience of rpm for me but I think we need to get over this problem somehow.
Geoffroy. Yes, that is exactly what I am thinking. I have randomly thought about building an rpm for OSCAR perl module including whole bunch of oscar sub perl modules located at $OSCAR_HOME/lib/OSCAR. If we can build, install, and use this rpm in OSCAR, I think this would make it a little easier to handle the dependency issues and we can use the OSCAR perl modules in a system-wide environment.
