My understanding is that the opkg meta packages are supposed to have dependencies for the underlying binary packages they are responsible for.
This is described in the opkg's config.xml file. However, I do not think the resulting RPMs have the dependencies -- for instance: # rpm -q --requires opkg-sis-server /bin/sh /usr/bin/perl perl(Carp) perl(Config) perl(OSCAR::Database) perl(OSCAR::Distro) perl(OSCAR::OCA::OS_Detect) perl(OSCAR::Opkg) perl(POSIX) perl(lib) perl(strict) rpmlib(CompressedFileNames) <= 3.0.4-1 rpmlib(PayloadFilesHavePrefix) <= 4.0-1 Shouldn't it require a bunch of systemimager RPMs? Is this a bug with opkgc? Cheers, Bernard ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
