i downloaded the beta this morning to start the installation of my new cluster
(i finally got the gear that i was testing everything for 4 months ago).
anyway, everything went fine until i got to the define clients step. i did not
install mpich (or, in fact, any version of mpi) in oscar, but when i click the
"add clients" button on the define clients screen, i get an error in the
terminal window saying:
--> About to run /var/lib/oscar/packages/mpich/api-post-clientdef for mpich
config_server: could not open mpich's nodes file
at /var/lib/oscar/packages/mpich/api-post-clientdef line 41
...updating mpich_server nodes file
Script /var/lib/oscar/packages/mpich/api-post-clientdef exitted badly with exit
code '2' at ./post_clients line 58
then it goes on about how post_clients puked, etc.
on my head node, the only thing i see with mpich in the name is the opkg:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] rpm -qa |grep mpich
opkg-mpich-1.2.7-9
i chrooted into the image I built, but there is no mpich rpm anywhere in the
image's RPM database.
any idea why it's trying to configure mpich if mpich is not installed?
