My host node froze this morning and after rebooting it, I took a look at the /var/log/messages and found countless number of these lines:

^Iflags = 0x0, sense len = 0x0, pktfail = 0x0
SCB 0x37 Received PKT Status of 0x28

A search on Google for the strings "SCB, Received PKT Status" pointed me to update the firmware of my Seagate U320 drives.

Update the firmware on Seagate drive? Is it possible? How? Seagate support doesn't say anything about this.

Any hint out there?

Many Thanks.
