Hi all,
I can update to Update4 of RHEL WS3.
If you can create the rpmlist fils for RHEL WS3,
that will be great.
Thank you all,
YoungJun

OSCAR on redhat Enterprise WS version
Hi all, I can examine the rpmlist files for RHEL WS3 but
what I have is RHEL WS3 (U3 and U4). I am not sure if my testing can help
YoungJun's issue but would like to try it.

The
fix would be to examine the rpmlist files, and fix it by deleting lines
specifying RPMs not provided, and figuring out which RPMs are required./x-tad-bigger>/color>/fontfamily>

So
is the 'Gold' release supported or do we currently only support 'Update 2'

RE: [Oscar-users] Installing OSCAR on redhat Enterprise WS version/x-tad-bigger>/fontfamily>
This
is not what “Update 3” means. Red Hat has released an original version
of “Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 3” and several updates./x-tad-bigger>/color>/fontfamily>
/bigger>/bigger>/fontfamily>
Look
at /etc/redhat-release. On my Update 3 system, it reads/x-tad-bigger>/color>/fontfamily>
/bigger>/bigger>/fontfamily>
Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 3 (Taroon Update 3)/x-tad-bigger>/color>/fontfamily>
/bigger>/bigger>/fontfamily>
Note
the “Update 3” part. On the version you reported below you have/x-tad-bigger>/color>/fontfamily>
/bigger>/bigger>/fontfamily>
Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS release 3 (Taroon)/x-tad-bigger>/color>/fontfamily>
/bigger>/bigger>/fontfamily>
This
is the “Gold” or first
release./x-tad-bigger>/color>/fontfamily>
/bigger>/bigger>/fontfamily>
There
are two issues:/x-tad-bigger>/color>/fontfamily>
/bigger>/bigger>/fontfamily>
1)
“AS” v. “WS”/x-tad-bigger>/color>/fontfamily>
2)
“Gold” v. “Update 3”/x-tad-bigger>/color>/fontfamily>
/bigger>/bigger>/fontfamily>
The
first issue affects which RPMs are included, e.g., various “server” RPMs are
not included. Apparently you can rebuild the RPMs from SRPMs and get
the missing RPMs./x-tad-bigger>/color>/fontfamily>
/bigger>/bigger>/fontfamily>
The
second issue affects versions of RPMs and sometimes which RPMs are included.
This is the part where you need to get the right update of RHEL3,
either “Update 2” or “Update 3”, both of which are supported. Can you
get one of these updates?/x-tad-bigger>/color>/fontfamily>
