Subject: RE: [Oscar-users] Oscar installation with gigabit ethernet controllers
Well, I found out the problem. The SuperMicro X5DPA-GG is not
compatible
with RedHat Linux Enterprise v3.
http://www.supermicro.com/support/resources/OS/E7501Compatibility.cfm
So
I guess I have to use RedHat 9.0 on these nodes instead.
Would there be
any problem if I use one OS (RH Enterprise 3) on one set of
nodes and another
OS (RH 9) on the newer ones? Or should the cluster run
the same OS on all
nodes?
Thanks again.
