Your gstat output (from ganglia.err) shows that Ganglia
only saw one computer -- your client node but could not see the headnode.
Is gmond running?
To check, run:
# /etc/init.d/gmond status
on the headnode.
The goal is to get the gstat output to show you have 2
running hosts, then the test will pass.
BTW, which interface is your cluster network? Is it
eth1 or eth0? In your previous email you ran ./install_cluster eth1, but
in the oscarinstall.log you just sent me, it says eth0.
Cheers,
Bernard
Dear Bernard
I have compared /etc/modules.conf file and removed tg3
entry so I am able to overcome this problem.
Now in test cluster step at
ganglia setup it fails. Although my cleint machine is booted from hard disk
and at boot time it shows that ganglia started. I have only one client machine
and a headnode.
I am attaching oscarinstall.log and
/home/oscartst/ganglia/ganglia.err files.
please help
thanks

not support any kind of upgrade path between versions and usually installing
