So I tried Michael's fix of preloading the driver from modprobe.conf. I
get an error message that the driver does not exist, (error message
below). From here the install stops. Is there a way to create a new
initrd file for the kernel that is being used by oscar and add the e100
module? Do I need to compile a new kernel and new initrd file?

run_pre_install_scripts
>>> 01all.load_e100_driver

loading e100 network driver

modprobe: module e100 not found.
modprobe: failed to load module e100
Killing off running processes.

Thanks,

Cary
