I am not sure about CentOS 4, I would think it should work, but I have not tried it myself.
You'll need to boot the compute node off a rescue CD. Install CD from CenOS should work, just type "boot rescue" at the boot prompt instead of just hitting return. When it boots you'll need to find the /etc/modprobe.conf file and copy that to the node's file system, overrighting the one that is there. If that works, just use the procedure to replace the default modprobe found here: http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/trac/oscar/wiki/TipLDAP Just ignore the LDAP parts :) On Thu, Oct 30, 2008 at 6:57 PM, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Greetings, > > I downloaded oscar 5.1rc1 (straight from sourceforge) and tried an install > on a fresh CentOS 4.6-x86_64 (I need 4.6 for legacy software issues). > > I get an error that CentOS is not a supported OS; I tried oscar 5.0 and I > can proceed with oscar install.
