That's pretty scary, Allan! I was just about to write you directly in lieu of nothing from the list, since you helped me last and clearly did get this working on fc9. Sorry to hear that you're having exactly the same issues under fc10 that I'm having under fc9. That I'm having them under fc9 might be unexpected (I've been very careful not to update any packages, and the timestamps on the online repos for the Fedora things not on the DVD also would indicate that these, too, are the original versions).
In my case (and it seems, in yours), after a node fails to finish setting up a bootloader, almost everything is there in boot/grub (mounted on /a) except a grub.conf file. The image fail leaves you at a shell; it is plausible that I could manually complete the process for each node by creating a grub.conf, (re?)writing an MBR and fixing up fstab. ANYBODY?
