Hello, I have just installed Oscar 5.1 beta under Fedora 8 for the i386 architecture. The client nodes successfully downloaded their images from the server, but have failed to reboot from local disk.
I selected UYOK option when I created the network boot CD since this is required for the Fedora 8 OS. When the client nodes fail to reboot, the last several lines read: "Waiting for driver initialization. Trying to resume from /dev/hda5 Unable to access resume device (/dev/hda5) Creating root device Mounting root filesystem. mount: could not find filesystem '/dev/root' Setting up other filesystems Setting up new root fs. setuproot: moving /dev failed: No such file or directory no fstab.sys, mounting internal defaults setuproot: error mounting /proc: no such file or directory setuproot: error mounting /sys: no such file or directory Switching to new root and running init. unmounting old /dev unmounting old /proc unmounting old /sys switchroot: mount failed: no such file or directory Booting has failed." I tried to rescue the system using the Fedora 8 rescue CD, but this was unsuccessful. Can someone please advise me on why the client nodes will not reboot from local disk, and what I can do to resolve the problem? Thank you.
