Apologies -

I should've tried reading to the bottom of the repoTesting page, to see
the section on testing the trunk.... thanks, Geoffroy.

Let's give this a shot.
cheers
Chris

Hi,

I created a repository for the preparation of OSCAR-6.0.1 which aims at fixing
all the reported problems (the current changelog is here:
http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/trac/oscar/browser/trunk/ChangeLog).

To use that repository, please refer to
http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/trac/oscar/browser/trunk/ChangeLog and more
precisely to the "Testing the development version" section.

Please report any problems and any success, that will help us to release
oscar-6.0.1 as soon as possible.

Best regards,

In this link,

 , we have:

3.3.1 On RPM Based Systems

    1. Make sure that your system is up-to-date, executing as root yum update
    2. Execute as root yum install oscar-base yume packman orm perl- AppConfig
perl-IO-Tty

So, I installed perl-IO-Tty manually ( yum install didn't work, because nothing
was found) and the bootstrap continued to try to install perl_Qt and then it
said that was not installed, and in another case:

My output:

package perl-Qt is not installed !!! Some packages were NOT installed !!! ERROR: impossible to install perl-Qt ( /usr/bin/install_prereq --smart /usr/share/oscar/prereqs/perl-Qt) at /usr/bin/oscar-config line 209 ERROR: Impossible to install a prereq ( /usr/share/oscar/prereqs/perl-Qt) at /usr/bin/oscar-config line 209 ERROR: Impossible to complete stage 2 of the bootstrap. at /usr/bin/oscar-config line 209

I guess to install manually perl-Qt do can work. I will try it now.
