It's all a matter of business. OSS stands to make MS people lose
business deals and therefore that makes them defensive and
consequently offensive.

It doesn't matter whether OSS or proprietary is better, at the end of
the day the only thing that matters is simply can we afford to even at
least feed ourselves? No point fighting and be a jihadist for OSS when
you can't even afford roti canai.

At this point in time, you will see that MS will argue only on price
points. And that is what people will look at during recession. Go out
and spread the fact. But act professionally and not like some fanatic.
That's the problem with many OSS people...sometimes too damn
passionate (me included) and scare away more conservative users.
