Yes. Enabling the IPTABLES symbol in the menu forces the KERNEL_HEADER symbol 
to be enabled, too. If you then disable the IPTABLES symbol again, the forced 
symbols are kept enabled (PTXdist does not know why they where enabled at some 
time).

When a new kernel is released also a new iptables release happens (most of the 
time). Maybe we also must update the iptables package in PTXdist to conform to 
more recent kernels.
