*hand up* There is some work going on in the community with regards to an AS3 compiler. The bytecode is being reverse engineered slowly, but we'll try to pick up the pace a little bit this evening when Mark and I plan to get together and thrash out a reverse engineering session. Anyone is welcome to join I guess, just give us a shout. Once the we've got at least a good portion of the bytecode down we'll start looking at the parser grammar (although I guess they could be done in parallel). Fortunately I was playing with autotools + bison/flex not so long ago, so it's relatively fresh in memory. We'll see. There are no guarantees for any of this. We may decide it's too much work and give up .. or we might actually manage to produce an AS3 compiler. One thing is for sure .. it's going to be a learning process ;-) _______________________________________________ osflash mailing list [email protected] http://osflash.org/mailman/listinfo/osflash_osflash.org
