It depends what and how you're doing stuff. For instance MTASC is based on previous reverse-engineering efforts I made back to Flash 6 and before the SWF spec was released. Theses specifications are really tricky because basicly as soon as you start reading them you can't actualy do anything else than "write" SWF. I would then recommend not to use them at all. Maybe we should start some pages on OSFlash wiki gathering Open Informations about the SWF format, which would be a replacement for theses abusive EULA.
