Again, a license can only be imposed on someone who **AGREES** to the license.

If I got my information from **anywhere** other than from macromedia,
I cannot be held liable. This is basic contract law. I cannot be held
responsible for a contract I did not sign - or in the case of click
wrap, "acknowledge" by clicking that I accept.

As a result, this is a very weak tool that is more designed to
intimidate than to provide any real legal protection. It is also
designed to muddy the waters so there will be conversations like this
that will make people afraid. What it is *not* designed to do is to
give Macromedia a solid leg to stand on if anyone should come out with
a competing player.
