I think it's important to have them in both places. Some people will

Definitely easy to do, if manual (the categorization.) As long as its 
synced up and we have a process whereby whomever is updating the main 
list also updates the categorized list, and vice-versa, it should be fine.

The search feature is part of the Wiki itself and should return info on 
the project pages too. I'm not sure how easy/feasible it is to set up 
localized search (eg. by namespace.) Anyone know this?
