If a company want to use your code under the GPL, you can't prevent them
from doing so, as long as they respect the GPL restrictions. If they
want to get rid of the GPL restrictions, for example integrate your
library inside its proprietary application, you can negociate with them
any kind of agreement as long as you own the codebase rights. If you
have a lot of contributors it's a bit difficult since you're supposed to
get everyone agree.
