Part of the consulting work is to advise the best technologies available for a given task, no ? You should then be among the first to fully evaluate a new solution when it comes up. Yes, there is a lot of possibilities in haXe, but that doesn't mean that you have to learn/master them all to use the language :) I can understand that some talks on the haXe list can be a bit technical when it comes to language design choices, but you feel overhelmed by enum/signatures or other things, just ignore them and use only classes. Later if in some project you feel that a give problem is a bit difficult to resolve, you can go back to haXe reference and have a look at other possibilities that the language offer and take advantage of them.
