Hi Carlos,

I did read through the thread - and even searched for the term "linux" in the 
flexcoders archive - and didn't come with any quote that was more specific than 
"a few months later".
Anyway, I don't think that it really matters whether it will come out two or 
five months later. It's way more important that Adobe is putting real resources 
into porting the player and doing it right. Also, I think that much of this 
effort is a one time affair and consists of building an infrastructure for the 
multimedia stuff that can be used to keep the next player versions in sync with 
the win and mac versions. At least that's what I'd hope it to be ;)
