I would agree that this is a good route to tackle, as a community of
course. It'd be far easier for these guys if the bosses were saying:
        "We need you to use haxe in this project can you deal bro?"
I'd bet all competant as2/3 programmers could pick up haxe if a job
depended on it. 

What are the advantages to businesses for adopting haxe vs the
alternatives they know and love? (Rather than the advantages to
developers)
 
I'd guess a starting point for decision makers:
        "if you know as2 you'll know haxe" - don't need to worry about
recruiting a new team
        "OPEN SOURCE" - no more depandancies on big corporations for
releases, huge support community, new developments happening every day.
        "Improved productivity" - okay so sounds like marketing crap,
but one language for js, as and back end could save time consuming
syntax errors and reference finding

I can't do that alone :)
That why it makes sense to act as a community, try to find solution 
together, and have the maximum of different people involved.
