That's a key question for us at the moment, too. Could you give us
something like a rough estimate when we can expect support for the new
VM? That would help me a lot...

IANAL ("I am not a lawyer", i.e., "this is not legal advise"), but the
tools you use to write and compile your code don't matter (because you
don't distribute them). ARP is under the MIT- and ASwing under the BSD
license, and AFAIK they're both OK to use in commercial applications.
I don't know what kind of license all those tools you use on the
server are under -- some might require you to make the sources
available if you changed them, which you probably didn't do anyway.
