John, I do not believe in astrology, nor in divination, but if you consider buying a new apple portable, I would rather wait a couple of days. There will be on the 12th of Sept the Paris Apple expo. Eventhough they are rumours about a new Itunes Store Video market, I presume we could new products also.
All the french stocks of Mac mini and MacBook Pro are empty nowadays. Some consumers even said that they bought a mac mini core solo and received a duo for the same price… So believe me, that it might be good signs of a new products line. MacBook Pro is really better for the professional work. I've test the MacBook's keyboardand it feel like a toy (IMHO) I presume that the next MacBook Pro generation will use a Intel Core 2 Duo to make a clear separation between personnal and professional apple's line.
