Although I'm currently a full-time Windows XP user, I've used Flash on Windows in a virtual machine (virtual box) which ran on Gentoo and later Ubuntu for many years and was extremely happy with the performance. It was the best of both worlds. Also, regarding this figure: fyi, os installed on desktops: linux = 0.69% How many of these folks are actually designers? I would argue that Adobe is focusing their Flash IDE initiatives toward the design community and letting Flex (and it's open SDK) satiate the developers. I like where Adobe's going. Given the current landscape, it makes a lot of sense to me. -Phil
