FYI, to open the solution file Wojtek provided (which is a VS2008 solution) in VS2005, I just opened the .sln and .prj files in a text editor and modified their headers to match VS2005 project files (which is generally just changing the version to a lower one...). Perhaps this could be done to open the solution/project in VS2003 as well, thus removing the need to create a new solution/project and lose the settings that Wojtek had in the original files?

I'm not sure if this would work, but for me since between 2005 and 2008 there didn't seem to be any major change in the solution/project file format, it worked fine.

Also, I agree with Wojtek that there isn't much incentive to make CMake project files for this, since it's likely going to be integrated into the existing osgShadow nodekit soon. For simple testing it's not necessary.
