I certainly understand this. If it were a lighter process to update and test thoroughly within our software, I'd have done this. (This isn't your fault.) I was happy getting in the compilation testing, to make sure we weren't going to have problems in Solaris.
I'll be giving the 2.8 branch a try in the next week or so, with this fix. thanks, andy -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Robert Osfield Sent: Thursday, February 19, 2009 12:08 PM To: OpenSceneGraph Submissions Subject: Re: [osg-submissions] Fix for State::reset() not correctly releasing its observee list <snip> In the run up to 2.8.0 I called, and called, and called for testing with 3rd party applications. But still not enough testing occurs. I'm afraid there isn't much more I could have done, too many users wait till after a stable release is tagged before they try out testing. <snip> _______________________________________________ osg-submissions mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openscenegraph.org/listinfo.cgi/osg-submissions-openscenegraph.org
