So this is what I've come up with so far, my awk is very very very
rusty, not done it about 20 years... had to add the awk script to get
rid of the first row of hex numbers that nm outputs, and are
different, but I can only presume they aren't relevant...
nm OpenSceneGraph/lib/libosg.so -D --demangle | awk '{print $2, $3,
$4, $5, $6, $7}' > 2.8.0.nm
If I compare the output of this line for 2.8.0 and 2.8.1 I only see a
single line different and that is the following line exists in 2.8.0
and not 2.8.1.

I presume this is benign though... This is first time I've play
with nm and have yet to dig into the docs.
What it does tell us is that the Vec typedef's usage hasn't change the
ABI, which is good news :-)
