Thanks Julen, these changes are certainly a big improvement. Changes
now checked into svn/trunk.

Things aren't perfect yet, but far better.  When I press 'p' in
osgmovie the movie stops the video straight away, but the audio
continues for a something around a second, when I press 'p' to unpause
the audio starts from where it left off, and the video jumps to catch
up.

I presume the issue is that audio buffer needs to be emptied once
passed to the audio system, so I wonder, naively, if one could just
reduce the size of the audio buffer.  I'm just guessing at the nature
of the problem though...  I'm not really up on ffmpeg.
