Hi Stephan, I have moved across to building on my systems that has GLES1 and GLES2 emulator libs, and also compiled against the GL3 headers as well. There were many dozens of #if's added to mipmap.cpp, and a few tweaks elsewhere, including resolving the Text.cpp issue with it's use of glPushAttrib.
I have got GLES1 and GL3 building, and am currently building against GLES2, so far things are going smoothly. Could you do an svn update and let me know how you get on. Fingers crossed I will have broken the back of the majority of portability issues.
