I've now removed these variables. I'll be further simplifying DatabasePager over the next week, with the incremental compilation code now moving into osgUtil::IncrementalCompileOperator (ICO). Part of this work has already been completed - DatabasePager can now use the ICO, I just need to add some more capabilities for compile prioritization and expiry to the ICO and then I'll be able to remove all this code.
