To join my opinion (without any attempt to attack anyone's opinion): I am missing the functionality of reporting of missed files for about three years. When I spotted for the first time that I do not get any warnings about missing textures, etc., I thought that it is a bug. My original presumption was that any missing file of the model results in failure of loading of the model. This is my usage model and if the current usage model is different, I wish for an option to change it to "my model". No attempt to attack anyone. Just one vote for resolving the issue. I appreciate the efforts.
