A bit like fixed point maths, Pointless :-) I think it's very easy to come up with ideas that appear sound, but when you going to actually implement then it complicates the code, complicates implementation and increases the risk of bugs being introduced, and then you find out the actual benefit is negligible so all the work and lowered code quality wasn't worth it. I've yet to see any evidence that the changes you are proposing are worth it. Robert.
