Thanks for highlighting this submissions.  I've had a quick look,
unfortunately the forum has eaten some of the attachments make it
effectively half the submission and has screwed up the filenames of the
rest.  Such problem with submissions make it more work for me to chase up
the contributor and sort out the problems, so I'd guess when the submission
it came in I was just too busy to do this extra leg work.

Could you at least consider the VAO submission for some future dev-release?

We could add VAO support but this submissions is incomplete and out of date
- I've done a diff against 3.2 and it pre dates it.  A new submission that
supports VAO and GLX_EXT_swap_control_tear would be welcome.
