My point was not really about the SIMD (even though that is a nice feature) but more about not reinventing the wheel again, should it ever come to the point of trying to replace the osg::Vec and related classes. Eigen would have advantages in that case, because it is widely used and it would save integration/conversion costs in addition to being more full featured than the rather basic math in OSG.
